Troubleshooting

Home

Are you having trouble opening files from the website?

It is sometimes especially difficult if you're on dial-up, but following these instructions should assist you with accessing these files.

PRINT OFF THIS PAGE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

Try this:
Instead of clicking "CLICK HERE" to get the form, Right Click on the CLICK HERE indicator.  Then another little option box will come up that gives you the option to "Save Target As".  Left Click on "Save Target As".  Then a "Save As" little box will come.  Under the blue bar there will be a "Save in:" location option.  I'd suggest saving it to Desktop.  If Desktop isn't what is showing, then click on the little triangle to the right of where it is offering to save for you.  From there, you can find the Desktop.   The "File name" showing toward the bottom might be something like GQCMembership.pdf if you're trying to download the membership form.  To the right, click on Save.

This saves that file to your desktop.  When it is done, you'll se a Download Complete box.  Just simply click on Close when you see it.  Then, leave the website through closing it out or minimizing it (either one works).  Go all the way back to your desktop view where you see all your icons.  You will see one that has a little pdf icon and says GQCMembership.pdf (or whatever you saved).  Double click on it and then magically the file should open.

From there you can click on File and Print to send it to your printer.  When you're done you can choose to leave that icon on your Desktop, or delete it off your Desktop.

Assuming you have Adobe Acrobat's Free Reader downloaded (which you must have to view any of the files on the website), then it will open.  If you don't have Acrobat's Free Reader, click on this icon: and download it from their website.

If these instructions don't work, or if you still need help, CLICK HERE and provide the requested information.  I'll be back in touch with you to assist.
