Our Mission:

To establish the Georgia Quilt Museum and exhibit the work of Georgia quilters, preserve their quilts, present educational programs and serve as a resource center for the study of the role of quilts and quilting in the culture of Georgia and in the USA.

 Challenge Quilt Exhibit Tour

 Attention Program Chairpersons

Now that the Challenge Tour for the 2005-2007 "Not Your Grandmother's Quilt" has ended, those quilts donated to the Museum are available for a limited time to guilds for a program. The quilts will travel with a script explaining both the Challenge and each quilter’s aim and inspiration. The only cost to the guild will be shipping expenses. If you’re interested, please email museum@georgiaquiltcouncil.com.
