Our Mission:

To establish the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum and exhibit the work of Georgia quilters, preserve their quilts, present educational programs and serve as a resource center for the study of the role of quilts and quilting in the culture of Georgia and in the USA. 

Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum NEWS

The Georgia Quilt Council Museum Committee is proud to announce the establishment of the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum in Carrollton Georgia. This new regional quilt and textile museum is poised to join the ranks of the other great quilt museums in the United States. We have already had preliminary discussions about exhibit sharing with The Museum of the American Quilter’s Society in Paducah, Kentucky and The New England quilt Museum in Lowell Massachusetts. We are planning on opening the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum during the 1st quarter of 2011.
