CRAZY QUILT CHALLENGE

 

“Crazy Is As Crazy Does: Crazy Quilts for Crazy Times”

VIEW THE QUILTS!

 

  • Eligibility: Member of Georgia Quilt Council
  • Crazy Quilts could be made from any fabric or combination thereof. Embroidery could be by hand &/or machine. Embellishments must lie flat and be firmly attached so that they are not “at risk” when packed for transporting.
  • The finished quilt must be square or rectangular with no side shorter than 20” or longer than 30”.
  • Batting &/or quilting are optional, but all quilts must have finished edges, backing and a 4” sleeve for hanging.
  • All quilts were turned in at the Spring Convention 2007.
  • All quilts will become part of a traveling exhibit in 2007 and 2008. No quilts will be released before the end of the tour.

 

Viewer’s Choice balloting at Spring Convention 2007 will determined winners. Prizes were awarded to first, second and third places.

 

*Note: The Museum Committee reserves the right to determine which entered quilts will become part of the traveling exhibit especially those requiring special handling because of embellishments or construction. We will take the utmost care with your quilts but we cannot be liable for theft, loss or damage to your property. Please check your homeowner's/renter's insurance policy.
